Dossier Construction Awards and Summit 2021 felicitates top performers
The Dossier Construction Awards and Summit 2021, an exclusive construction, infrastructure and real estate industry event took place on 6th December at Hotel Sheraton Oman. The event was organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Housing & Urban Planning and was supported by Oman Real Estate Association. The Chief Guest was His Excellency Dr. Khalfan Bin Said Al-Sueili, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning.
Leading names from the construction, infrastructure, real estate, manufacturing and design & engineering consultancies participated in the ninth edition of the event, which was graced by His Excellency Sheikh Salim Bin Mustahail Al Mashani.
The Summit began with a presentation by Rohit Singhal, CEO, Masin Middle East, where he focused on claims disputes and arbitration, and how the pandemic has delayed the claims processes and altered the arbitration clauses and disputes resolution. The presentation was followed by a panel discussion on ‘Way Forward in the Challenging Economic Environment’, which highlighted the challenges and opportunities in the sector. The panelists included Hassan Mohammed Juma, Founder & MD, Al Osool Group; Fahad Al Ismaili, Founder of Tibiaan Properties; Asim Al Zadjali, Chairman, Oman Real Estate Association; Himansu Mohapatra, Group General Manager - Investments, Muscat Overseas Group; Yousef Ahmed Alawi Al Ibrahim, Chief of Support Services & Business Development, Raysut Cement Company. The moderator for the panel was Akshay Bhatnagar, Executive Vice President & Group Managing Editor, United Media Services.
Followed by an awards ceremony, the best industry performers, practices, technologies and projects were felicitated, and overall 36 awards were presented to the deserving companies, professionals and industry leaders across various categories.

This event was instituted by Dossier magazine, published by United Media Services, part of Muscat Overseas Group. Launched in 2007, Dossier is Oman’s first Business-to-Business (B2B) publication on construction, infrastructure and real estate sectors.
